ARPA. On January 25, ADELGIZA, aged 94, passed away peacefully. She is deeply missed by her children Charlie, Margaret, Pauline and their spouses, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for Gżira parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

AZZOPARDI. On January 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, GUZEPPA, of Rabat, aged 94, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Carmen, Maria, retired Police Superintendent Joseph M and his wife Gemma, and Paul, a M.U.S.E.U.M Society member, her grandchildren Arthur and his wife Lorraine, Robert and Paulette and Ann Marie and her husband Karl, her great-grandchildren Daniel, Elisa, Sarah and Gianluca other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2.30pm for St Paul's Collegiate church Rabat, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm followed by interment at Santa Margerita cemetery, Rabat, in the family grave.
No flowers by request but donations to Villa Mgr. Gonzi will be appreciated.

CACHIA. On January 26, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, MARGARET of Sliema, aged 87, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her nephew Charles and her nieces Maricka and Shirley, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre tomorrow at 1.30pm for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

GRUNGO. On January 25, JOSEPHINE, née Cuschieri, of St Paul’s Bay, widow of John, aged 92, peacefully went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her children Mario and his wife Bernardette, Toniette and her husband Dr Raymond Zammit, Joseph and his wife Valerie, residing in the UK, Jeanine and her husband Frank Sciberras, Jacqueline and her husband Ing. Albert Farrugia, her grandchildren Martina, Andrea, Jean-Pierre, Anne-Marie, Gabrielle, Joanne, Noelle, Mark and Erika, their respective spouses and fiancés, her great-grandchildren Sebastian, Benjamin, Zack and Luigi, her brother Antoine and his wife Josephine, her sisters Paulette, Juliette, Eileen and Carmele, Toniette and Lyla of Australia, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8am for Our Lady of Sorrows parish church, St Paul’s Bay, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to charitable institutions and Lisa Maria Foundation will be greatly appreciated. The family wish to thank all the staff at Mater Dei Hospital and St Peter’s Home, Lija, for their dedication and care. Kindly remember her in your prayers. TURNER. On January 24, EWEN, beloved brother of Wendy Scerri and Elizabeth Hilder, passed away. Interment takes place on Friday, January 30 at 2pm at St Mary’s chapel, Xewkija cemetery.

WALFORD. Suddenly, on January 4, MARGARET, aged 83, passed away in the UK. She leaves to mourn her loss many friends in Malta where she lived from 1985. A memorial service will be held at St Paul’s Anglican Pro-Cathedral, Valletta, on Thursday, January 29 at 4pm, to coincide with her funeral in the UK.
