• The feast of the conversion of St Paul will be celebrated today at Marsalforn. Gozo bishop Mario Grech will celebrate Mass at 11am at the church with the participation of Chorus Stella Maris. A procession with the statue of St Paul will leave the church at 4.30pm, accompanied by the Victory Band of Xagħra.

• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly in Gozo is holding a charity fair at Victoria football ground, next to the main car park, today from 7.30am to 1pm. Each car space costs €10 and is payable on the day.

• The Maze Runner will be screened today at 5.30pm at Don Bosco Oratory. The Best of Me will be screened on Saturday at 8.30pm.

• Masses at Ta’ Pinu will be said today at 6.15, 8.30, 10 and 11.15am and 5pm, followed by the the rosary and Eucharistic benediction.

• Masses at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, Ta’ Ħamet, will be said today at 9.30am and at 7.30pm.

• To prepare for the feast of St John Bosco, patron saint of children and youths, Fr Michael Said will lead prayer meeting for children tomorrow at 5pm at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria.

• Gozo College’s Rabat primary school is organising a pyjama day on Wednesday. Children will be allowed to attend school wearing their pygamas against a donation to Puttinu Cares.

• On the occasion of the feast of St John Bosco, school children will attend Masses at Don Bosco Oratory chapel on Friday morning. A prayer meeting for youths will be held at the chapel at 8pm led by the Youth Fellowship Group from Malta. All youths are invited.

• MUSEUM superior Joe Fenech will be hold a prayer and catechesis meeting at Our Lady of Pompeii church, Victoria, on Thursday from 10 to 11am. All are invited. He presents a weekly Saturday programme from 1 to 3pm on Radju Maria.

• A public lecture entitled ‘Michel Vidal, American Consul in Tripoli, Anglophobe – Troublemaker in the Mediterranean in the 1870s’ by notary Michael Refalo will be held at Il-Ħaġar museum, St George’s Square, Victoria, on Friday at 6pm. All are invited and admission is free.

• Mending Martin, a play by Rob Ricards about the effects of a broken relationship, will be staged by 356 Company at the Gozo Ministry, Victoria, on Friday, Saturday and next Sunday. Actors include Sue Scantlebury, Marion Sayers and Julia Camilleri. Tickets at €10 are available from Bargate Bookshop, Victoria, or by e-mailing markthorogood@gmail.com.

• Victoria Scout Group holds its AGM at its headquarters at St Domenica Street, Victoria, on Saturday at 6.30pm. The scouts of the year awards will also be presented.

• The liturgical feast of St John Bosco will be marked at Don Bosco Oratory on Saturday. Archpriest Joseph Attard will celebrate High Mass at 7pm. The Chorus Ecclesiae Cathedralis, under Mro Colin Attard’s direction, will also take part.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, Ta’ Ħamet, on Saturday at 8pm, followed by Mass at midnight.

• Parents are invited to present their baptised babies to Our Lady at Ta’ Pinu sanctuary on February 7 at 4.30pm. This annual ceremony of the Catholic Action Movement in Gozo, will be presided by Mgr Mario Grech. Those attending are to call Netta Camilleri on 2155 1022 or Ġuża Grech on 2755 3822 with their child’s name, surname and date of birth, their address and phone number, and to bring a red candle.
