Lead Training Services in Swatar organised its annual certificate awards ceremony at the Xara Lodge, Rabat.

Education Minister Evarist Bartolo attended, along with other guests, including National Commission of Further and Higher Education CEO Edel Cassar and Lotteries and Gaming Authority chairman Joseph Cuschieri.

Lead Training Services managing director James Grech thanked the minister and guests for attending, saying that his organisation added value to the lives of professionals through training services.

Mr Bartolo emphasised the need for CPD courses and stressed other training providers should follow suit. Ms Cassar explained that her commission was doing its utmost to support learning institutions enhance the quality of their offerings by providing a regulated framework and the opportunity to obtain accreditation of homegrown courses.

She highlighted that this award ceremony was not the end but the start for a student, since more credits could be added to those earned today via the harmonised credit system adopted by the commission.

The minister then awarded certificates to all successful students.
