A Bolivian nun gave birth in San Severino Marche, Italy, after complaining of stomach ache, Italian newspaper Corriere Adriatico has reported.

The  nun, who had been living in a cloistered convent gave birth last Sunday and intends to keep the baby.

In a similar case, a nun giving birth in 2011 in Marche after having been raped abroad by a foreign priest. She initially gave her daughter up for adoption but then changed her mind and was granted custody.
