I would like to humbly make a suggestion to the local council of Żebbuġ, in Gozo.
May I ask the mayor and the council members to consider bestowing an honorary award on a young man, Nicholas Cassar, who hails from the same locality and who is in the fifth year of his secondary education.
He helps a lot in the church and, in the absence of a full-time sexton, he is of continuous support to the local parish priest.
Besides being always ready to help, he is also dedicated in his service towards the parish church.
Showing appreciation to the young members of our community is a duty we need to become used to and not take for granted.
