Missions marathon
A 42-hour fundraising marathon in aid of missions is being organised on Friday, Saturday and Sunday on all local TV stations by Fondazzjoni U (Xandir Socio-Religjuz).
The money donated will go towards a rescue centre in Malindi, Kenya, for which €352,000 is needed; a clinic in Rochmanagar, southern India, for which €25,000 is needed; secondary schools for girls in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, for which €304,347 is needed; and a project for abandoned children in the Philippines, for which €80,000 is needed.
