The Opposition members on various parliamentary committees were reshuffled this evening following the recent reshuffle of the Shadow Cabinet.

Frederick Azzopardi, Toni Bezzina and Tonio Fenech were appointed to the Foreign Affairs Committee, Mario de Marco was appointed to the Public Accounts Committee and the Audit Committee, Paula Mifsud Bonnici and Stephen Spiteri were appointed to the Social Affairs Committee, Robert Cutajar to the Family Affairs Committee, Claudio Grech to the Economic Affairs Committee, Claudette Buttigieg to the Health committee, Marthese Portelli and Ryan Callus to the Environment Planning Committee and Chris Said to the Privileges Committee.

Separately, new government whip Godfrey Farrugia was appointed to the House Business Committee and the Privileges Committee.,
