Today’s Citrus Festival at San Anton Palace in Attard will offer visitors the opportunity to roam around the palace’s private gardens, home to about 600 citrus trees.

The kitchen at the Palace will be preparing food and desserts based on oranges and other citrus products, while a variety of activities will entertain children throughout the day.

Josephine Grima, HR operations senior manager and a member of the Employee Fund Committee at Go, a main sponsor of the festival, said the company’s support for the Malta Community Chest Fund was not just a one-off.

“The support the company and its employees offer voluntarily highlight our willingness to continue to give time and money to those in need,” she said.

Go donated €32,000 to last year’s L-Istrina, €5,000 of which came from the Go Cares Employee Fund, which supports a number of organisations and good causes.

The citrus festival will be open from 10am to 4pm.
