Thousands of people this morning packed San Anton Palace in Attard taking the opportunity to roam around the palace’s private gardens, home to about 600 citrus trees, as part of the annual citrus festival.

The Palace kitchen prepared food and desserts based on oranges and other citrus products and a number of activities were held to entertain children

The festival continues until 4pm.
