The Kilimanjaro challengers returned to Malta today after climbing the Tanzanian mountain to raise funds for a kindergarten school in Gambella, Ethiopia.

The project is named in honour of the late Nirvana Azzopardi, the TV personality who died of cancer last year.

The team spent eight days climbing the highest free standing mountain in the world, situated at 5,895 metres above sea level.
