The University’s Faculty of Arts is organising a study tour to eastern Sicily from April 21 to 26. Participants will visit archaeological and art historical sites in Milazzo, Messina, Giardini Naxos, Taormina, Castelmola, Syracuse, Catania and Aci Castello.
The five-day tour forms part of a new MA in Mediterranean Studies launched by the faculty. While it is mainly aimed at students on the course, guest participants are welcome to join.
The tour will be led by history of art lecturer Charlene Vella, classics and archaeology lecturer Timmy Gambin and history lecturer Mark Aloisio, together with local experts.
