The Malta Council for Economic and Social Development said today that fuel prices were not on the agenda of its next meeting.

Reacting to a report in Il-Mument that the subject was to be discussed at the next meeting, the council said none of the social partners had requested such a discussion.

Should any request be made, the issue would be put on the agenda.

The statement was signed by John Bencini, chairman.
