Most Maltese must be disgusted and worried by the Paris massacre of seven journalists and others seriously injured by Muslim well-trained extremists armed with Kalashnikovs.

This attack was aimed at silencing the freedom of the press and of Charlie Hebdo magazine, which, through caricatures, was making fun of different religious personalities including the Pope.

What is the future? Will we have to be continually looking over our shoulder just in case a Muslim extremist objects to what we write in the press?

Have the authorities an answer to this growing menace?
