Global fashion sensation Jessica Minh Anh was first introduced to the Big Apple last June, when she famously transformed the One World Trade Centre into the world’s newest catwalk six months before it was officially opened to the public.

After marking another milestone in the fashion world on the iconic Eiffel Tower at the end of last year, the model and entrepreneur will return to New York on March 19 to produce J Spring Fashion Show 2015 on the Hudson River.

With a vision that goes beyond imagination, Minh Anh will turn the river’s giant glass boat into a unique floating catwalk.

Guests will be seated facing the multi-faceted glass window while the boat is cruising to watch models walking in front of them as if they were walking on water.

Thanks to a 360-degree view from the boat, New York’s famous skyline and architectural masterpieces such as the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, One World Trade Centre and Brooklyn Bridge will become natural backdrops.

Similar to Minh Anh’s previous history of making catwalks around the world, the J Spring Fashion Show 2015 will present 10 haute couture, high-end ready-to-wear and jewellery collections from five continents. Participating fashion houses will embrace tradition and culture, yet experiment innovative techniques of modern designs.

The model has worked with both international fashion leaders, including Paul Costelloe, Addy van den Krommenacker, Yumi Katsura and Shiatzy Chen, and newly celebrated designers such as Ziad Nakad, Susana Bettencourt and Shilpa Reddy.

What makes the model’s catwalks unique, according to ABC7, is that “Jessica combines art, architecture, culture and fashion”.

Fox5 New York positioned her fashion shows above the traditional hype, stating: “Fashion Week may be fabulous, but it pales in comparison with Jessica Minh Anh’s history making catwalk on top of America.”

Minh Anh’s international successes include the world’s highest fashion show on the Grand Canyon Skywalk, as well as others on London’s Tower Bridge; Petronas Twin Towers’ Skybridge on the Seine river in Paris; Costa Atlantica in Dubai; the Gardens by Bay’s Skyway in Singapore; the One World Trade Centre; and the Eiffel Tower.

“I believe the most innovative creations should be presented at the best of locations. And what better way to present fashion and New York than a moving catwalk with the panoramic view of the famous city,” Minh Anh said.

J Spring Fashion Show 2015 will continue to redefine modern standards and celebrate the rise of the new generation of creative leaders. These extremely talented and fiercely ambitious individuals would go the distance to prove their vision and that hard work can change the world.

Catwalking at 4,000 feet above the Colorado River and, this time on the Hudson River, Minh Anh is certainly a significant part of the new wave.
