A seminar entitled ‘A win-win approach: Turning conflict into cooperation’ will be held on January 20 from 5 to 7pm at the University’s Psychology Lab, 101, Old Humanities building, Msida campus. Entrance is free and all are welcome to attend.

The seminar participants will be introduced to the study of human interactions and communication, and how to transform conflict thunderstorms into nourishing rain to make relationships grow and flourish, in line with Van Nuemann’s Game theory, which holds that “in a system, either we all win or we all lose”.

It will be conducted by Barbara Pojaghi, an expert in communication and human sciences at the University of Macerata’s Department of Political Science, Communication and International Relations in Italy.

The seminar is being organised by the University of Malta’s Department of Psychology and Centre for Resilience and Socio-Emotional Health.
