Beloved wife of Philip, loving mother of Nancy and her husband Frank Podczervinski, Joanne and Michael Portney, Suzanne and Frank Novak and Philip M. and Julie; proud grandmother of Aron and Sara, Ami and Bryan, Adam, Grant and Elise, and Rachael; great-grandmother of Blake, Paige and Ethan; dear sister of Josephine, widow of Sam Lathon, Fred and his wife Elizabeth, Mary, widow of Joseph Micallef, Jane, widow of Paul Mifsud and Helen and her husband Fred Debattista. She also leaves to mourn her loss members of the Cini family of Żebbuġ, Malta. Rita was a long time member of the Maltese-American Community Centre. MUSCAT. On January 8, at Gozo General Hospital, VICTOR, of Victoria, Gozo, aged 79, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Antoinette, nèe Camillieri, his children Ċettina and her husband Joseph Cassar, Rose Anne and her husband Raymond Cini, Georgette, Josette and her husband Dennis Grech, his sister Sr Victoria, his brother-in-law Frank Camilleri, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. SCHEMBRI. On January 7, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, PHYLLIS, née Agius, widow of Nicholas, aged 83, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons George and his wife Gina, Ronald and his wife Edmea, Alister and his wife Patricia, and Michael and his wife Marika, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St Luke’s mortuary today at 2.30pm for Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel where Mass will be said at 3pm, followed by interment.
