Today two Islamic extremists shot at you.

You didn’t notice?

How is it possible that someone shoots at you and you don’t notice?

Are you so alienated as not to notice that the barbaric attack on the headquarters of Charlie Hebdo, the French satirical paper, is an attack on your home? Have you not realised that the shots fired at the French journalists were aimed at you?

How come?

You ask me: How come? Really?

The attack was horrible not only because fellow human have been mercilessly assassinated by barbaric savages. That in itself is horrible and horrifying enough. But the barbarians attacked the journalists of Charlie Hebdo to send you a message. They want to tell you that you are not free to speak your mind. They want to tell you that you can only speak and write what they want you to speak and write. They emphasise that they are the arbiters of life and death. You live if you cower like a terrified slave. You die if you dare to be human.

Today the victims are the journalists of Charlie Hebdo. Tomorrow the victim can be you.

All this is made much more obscene because these animals claim that they do this in the name of God. A God who is merciful. A God who is love.

These enemies of humanity are the worst enemies of God. They reduce God to an object, their own possession which they use to project their vengeance and hate. There can be no worse blasphemy.

If you did not notice that you were the real target of the extremists that is bad enough.

But it would be worse if you project the savagery of these two beast on all followers of Islam. The barbarians happened to be Muslims but they did what they did not because they are Muslims but because they are savages. If you stereotype all Muslims within this horrible type of behaviour it means that these barbarians have won a victory over you. They have already poisoned your mind. There is then no need for them to kill your body.
