A room dedicated to Malta was inaugurated at the Museum of Chocolate in Modica, Sicily, featuring a map of Malta and Gozo in chocolate.

Historically, the city of Modica always had strong cultural and commercial links with Malta. Best known as a baroque city, Modica is also famous for its chocolate, done the traditional way.

Seen here are Ray Bondin, first from left, shaking hands with Modica’s Consortium of Chocolateers president Nino Scivoletto, with Modica mayor Ignazio Abate, second from left, and Speaker Anġlu Farrugia.
