Eden Cinemas and the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra have teamed up to put on a new, live, audiovisual show in theatre16 this month.
The Everlink incorporates a 40-piece orchestra, live singers and cinematography. It tells the story of 10-year-old Aidan, who unexpectedly finds himself intertwined in the adventure of a lifetime when he accidentally activates an ancient Everlink.
The Everlink features original music composed by Reuben Pace. The MPO, led by Marcelline Agius, will be under the direction of Raoul Lay, who is visiting Malta from Marseilles especially for this event.
Malcolm Galea’s script will be narrated by Alan Paris, while visuals on screen are by Vince Briffa and his team from the Department of Digital Arts within the Faculty of Media and Knowledge Sciences.
The Everlink will be showing on January 23 at 7.30pm and on January 24 and 25 at 4pm and 6pm.
Tickets for The Everlink are €10 for adults and €5 for children under 15.
A family ticket for €20 is valid for two adults and two children or one adult and three children.
