ATTARD. On January 2, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMELO (sive Charles) of Marsa, residing at Birkirkara, aged 78, passed peacefully away, after a very short illness, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers and sisters Fr Wistin Attard OFM Cap., Joseph, Mary, John, Matilde, Frans and his wife Victoria, David and his wife Rose, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 9.30am for the Holy Trinity parish church in Marsa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. BARBARA. On December 23, baby FAYE, aged four months, passed away at Kings Hospital, London. She leaves to mourn her great loss her parents Sean and Chantelle, née Zammit Marmara. She will also be sadly missed by her grandparents Antoine and Edna Barbara, Kenneth and Rose Zammit Marmara, her aunt Sharon, her uncle Keith and his wife Stephanie, aunt Babette, uncle Kevin and his wife Kirstin, cousins, other uncles and aunties, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital, on Monday January 5, at 8.30am for Tal-Ibraġ parish church, where a Missa de Angelis will be said at 9am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Kings Hospital, London, as well as all those who offered prayers and gave their support.

CACHIA. On January 1, at Mater Dei Hospital, HELEN, aged 90. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers Monsignor Lawrence Cachia, Francis and his wife Maureen, Alfred and his wife Victoria, her sister Imelda and her husband Tony Serracino Inglott, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends amongst whom the members of the Society of Christian Doctrine (Mużew). Mass præsente cadavere will be concelebrated at St Philip church, Żebbuġ today at 3.30pm followed by interment at the Sacred Heart cemetery, Żebbuġ.

FENECH GONZI. On December 31, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA AURORA, a week away from her 90th birthday, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Monica and her husband Roger Tedman, her son Raymond and wife Angela, her grandchildren Sophia and Stefanie and fiancé Adrian, other family members and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be held today at the chapel of Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery at 2pm followed by interment. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

MEILAK. On January 1, tragically in Gozo, MATTHEW of Swieqi, aged 22, fifth year law student, went to meet the risen Lord. He leaves to mourn his great and irreparable loss his beloved parents Lucienne and Stefan, his dearest sister Bea, his grandmother Cettina Caruana Curran and her husband Maurice, his grandparents Martin and Tania Vassallo, his aunts and uncles: Erika Vella and her husband Ivan, Danielle Drago and her husband David and John Vassallo and his wife Baudina, his cousins: James, Jonathan, Chrissa, Andrew, Julian, Sean, Elena, Jordi and Ella, great aunts and uncles, other relatives and numerous friends. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date. The family regret that they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SAPIANO. On January 1, at St James Capua Hospital Sliema, JOSEPH RAYMOND of Kappara, aged 79, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his loving wife Dorothy née Bonello, his only devoted son Martin and his partner Yvette, his grandson Jonathan and his wife Erika , his nephews and nieces Gail Smith, Allison Burrell, Mark Bell, Sarah Bell, Claire Bencini, Bernardette Bencini Brachat and Angela Strutt, his sister-in- law Rosemary Sapiano and nephew Georg Sapiano, other relatives and numerous friends and colleagues. The funeral leaves St James Capua Hospital Sliema on Monday January 5 at 8am for Our Lady of Lourdes parish church, San Ġwann where the Holy Eucharist will be celebrated præsente cadavere at 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. STELLINI. On December 31, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, ALBERT, aged 80, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Joanna and Peter, his sisters Violette and Aurelia, relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence today for Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery, where Mass will be said at 2.50pm. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

ASCIAK. In loving memory of LILIAN on the second anniversary of her demise. Deeply missed by her husband Albert, her daughter Theresa and her husband John, her son Edward and her grandchildren.
