I would like to publicly express my gratitude for the care, attention and service my mother received last July and August at Mater Dei Hospital, especially from Medical Ward 4 (M4) and, since September, from MAU4.

I would like to greatly thank the consultant and her exceptionally dedicated team of doctors as well as the nursing officers, the nursing staff, the nursing aides and carers.

They not only gave an impeccable service to my mother but have also extended their support to me personally, even more so on days and nights which I can easily describe as being the worst of my life.

Thanks also are extended to the cleaners who keep the wards spotless as well as to the staff at the day care unit, MAU3, the emergency section and the rest of the staff members who were in some way or other involved.

May I also take this opportunity to thank the management and staff at Roseville, Attard, for their care and service towards my mother during the last few years and even more so this year.

Their dedication towards the elderly is second to none.
