The consultation period for the planning authority’s guidelines for interventions in urban conservation areas has been extended by two weeks.

Draft policy DC2014 adopted a completely new approach to the formulation of design policies which is based on context, Mepa said.

The document is the result of a year-long collaborative process led by Mepa and Antoine Zammit involving stakeholders in sanitary law, transport and conservation.

See the draft policy at www.mepa.org.mt/public-consultation. Feedback can be sent to Mepa, DC2014, PO Box 200, Marsa MRS 1000 or dc2014@mepa.org.mt by January 30, 2015.
