Attending Toi Toi workshops at the Manoel Theatre has become one of our main family outings. As a parent, but also as an educator and psychologist, I am writing in great appreciation of the immense dedication and thought that goes into putting together these sessions.

Having children that fit into every age of the workshops, we have attended those targeted for infants and toddlers, for preschoolers and also for children up to eight. All the sessions are equally fantastic in the exposure they give to children to a variety of music, culture and story-telling. From Eine Klienenacht Musik to the Chicken Dance, from the Merry Wives of Windsor to Fonzu l-Fenek, the organisers, musicians, dancers and singers give excellent performances which are guaranteed enjoyment for all the family.

Our children avidly look forward to the sessions and from one session to the next we look up the music we would have heard the previous time, so that we can experience it over and over. We also enjoy the latest additions to the programme PikuZi and Toi Toi Moves.

Thank you, Toi Toi. I am aware of the support given to Malta’s talented youth in their development as opera singers and musicians and also of their involvement with the elderly. Every effort and support should be given to the continued running of the programme.

I could only wish that more children could benefit from such a wonderful experience to enhance their exposure to the arts and contribute to their development.
