Andrew Borg-Costanzi is absolutely correct in his letter ‘Vote for a better future’. Our voters should seek to inform themselves objectively before expressing themselves about key political issues and before casting their votes in general and local elections.

Equally important, our parties should discuss issues both publicly and privately in an objective manner.

Not everything the other party proposes or does is nonsensical; and, certainly, not everything one’s own party has proposed or has done cannot be improved upon!

Our political system will only become democratically mature when our political leaders acknowledge this overtly.
