It is about time that the government reviews the means test used by the social services.

Our present test, apparently, dates back to 1970. Because of this negligence those who apply for the ‘pink card’, especially when this is necessary for treatment abroad, cannot receive it because even with only a pension to their name, they are told their income is in excess.

Therefore their flight and treatment abroad cannot be funded.

Unbelievable but true.
