Four local councils in as many regions in Malta and Gozo – Fgura, Msida, St Paul’s Bay and Victoria – have been selected for a pilot project to embellish their localities.

The councils were happy to accept and their proposals have already been approved as a first initiative to get the project under way.

Answering a parliamentary question by Nationalist MP Ċensu Galea on Wednesday, Environment Minister Leo Brincat said the four councils had been purposely selected from areas suffering a “strong negative impact from traffic”.
