Obituary
ATTARD. On December 11, MARIE LOUISE née Xuereb, widow of Godfrey, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her residence in Sliema, five days short of her 96th birthday. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Marie Celine, Josette, Monique, Yvonne, Godfrey, Annette and Michel, their husbands and wives, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.15am for St Gregory parish church, Sliema, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.45am, followed by interment in the family chapel at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
CAMILLERI. On December 14, CARMELO aged 89, widower of Rose, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his loving children Doreen and her husband Carmelo, Maryanne, Carmen and her husband Paul, Martin and his wife Cynthia, Ray and his wife Marika, his grandchildren, Luigi, Ritianne, Alessandro, Stefania, Lianne, Luke, Kristina, Lara, Martina, Thomas, Andrew, Gabriele and their spouses and partners and his great grandchildren Leah, Elisa and Sarah. Mass præsente cadavere will be said at the Gżira parish church tomorrow at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
CARUANA. On December 14, MARIA, nèe Farrugia, widow of Anthony, aged 90, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Peter and his wife Mary Rose, John and his wife Catherine, her daughters Pauline and her husband Frans, Carmen and her husband Raymond and Rita Anne, grandchildren, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence today at 2.30pm for Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3pm followed by interment in the family grave. On December 15, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, HELEN, k/a Nellie, nèe Jones, widow of Maurice, aged 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Mary Grace, George, Robert, Gillian and Bruce, their respective spouses and partners, her grandchildren, great-grandson, brothers and sisters, other family and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow, Wednesday, at 2pm at St Julian’s parish church followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SCOTT. On December 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, ALBERT, of Sliema, aged 68, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his loving family. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved daughter Amanda and her fiancé Sean Cassar, as well as his brothers and sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
