The Opposition insisted once more today that the government should publish its agreements on the energy sector, saying that the refusal by the Energy Minister yesterday showed that the government had learnt nothing from 'Malliagate'.
"Despite Malliagate, the government has not changed its attitude and wants to continue to keep matters under wraps," the party said.
It argued that there could be no serious discussion about the energy sector in Parliament tomorrow unless the agreements were published and studied.
Should the government persist in hiding the agreements, the Opposition said it would reserve its right to take whatever action was needed for the people to know what the country had bound itself to.
