I am a sister of Charity of St Jeanne Antide working at St Jeanne Antide Bible High School in Shahdara, Lahore, Pakistan.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all those working at Mission Fund and all benefactors who help them by donating and collecting used stamps.

I have received the sum of €2,000 from the Mission Fund in aid of the poor children who attend our school and also to help families in need.

The school is in a village called Sahdara surrounded by many other small villages. There are 650 students in the school.

People here work very hard to try to make ends meet.

The ever-increasing cost of living makes it nearly impossible for families to educate their children and give them a good balanced diet.

Through the help we have received, many Christian children will be able to continue their studies in our school.

Orphans and many others receive free books, copies, stationery, uniforms and school shoes. Many young students are helped to continue studying in colleges and at university.

Sick people are helped by paying for their specialised treatments. We also help families by paying for their rent, electricity, gas and water bills.

So, please, continue helping the Mission Fund by sending them used stamps and donations.

The donations can be made online or by direct bank transfer to one of the following accounts: HSBC (account No. 061 197 448 050); Bank of Valletta (account No. 163 007 980 19); APS (account No. 200 008 20762) or Banif (account No. 000879 631010).
