Screen star Keira Knightley is reported to be pregnant with her first child.

The 29-year-old actress, who landed a Golden Globe nomination for her role in The Imitation Game yesterday, is said to be more than three months into the pregnancy.

The New York Post’s Page Six column reported that she was to become a mother, attributing several unnamed sources although there has been no official confirmation.

She married musician James Righton of Mercury Prize-winning band Klaxons last year.

Knightley was recently among the guests at the British Independent Film Awards at the weekend and there have been rumours of a pregnancy for a number of weeks.
