• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold Solemn adoration at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, Ta’ Ħamet, today, with the theme Biex l-Imħabba tkun Maħbuba. Masses will be said 5am, at 9.3Oam and at 7.30pm, followed by the recitation of the Te Deum and a sacramental blessing.
• The Nadur Museum Males Section will be staging a Musical Play entitled L-Anġlu Mqareb b’Missjoni Speċjali (The Mischievous Angel on a Special Mission) at the MBC Theatre Nadur on the December 20 and 27, at 7.30pm. The 80-strong cast directed by Mark Azzopardi will once again deliver a Christmas story revolving around a mischievous angel who is sent down to earth to help a famous theatrical director, Derek Gold, who is in search of the real meaning of Christmas. His search leads him to a youth community who help around a local library the future of which is uncertain as developers want to tear it down and build a commercial centre. Will our mischevious angel succeed in giving Derek and his new friends a special Christmas? Entrance is free.
• MUSEUM superior Joe Fenech will be holding a prayer and catechesis meeting at Our Lady of Pompeii church, Victoria, on Friday, December 26 from 9am to 11am. All are invited. He also presents a weekly Saturday programme from 1 to 3pm on Radju Maria.
• Inspire will be hosting the first Jingle Bell Jog in Gozo, in collaboration with Sir M.A. Refalo 6th Form, on Thursday, from 9am to noon. The public are welcome to join in this 5km run. • Masses at Ta’ Pinu sanctuary will be said today at 6.15, 8.30, 10 and 11.15am and 5pm, followed by the recital of the rosary and eucharistic benediction.
• The Nut Job will be screened at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm. Begin Again will be screened on Saturday at 8.30pm.
• Santa Luċija is celebrating the feast of its patron saint today. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will celebrate Mass at 9am. Mgr Joseph Cauchi will lead the procession with the statue of the saint at 4.45pm. The Leone Band of Victoria will take part.

• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly (Gozo) will hold a charity sale at the football ground near Victoria’s main car park today from 7.30am to 1pm. The price is €10 for each car space, payable on the day.
• Victoria Scout Group will hold a bike hike in aid of Ability for Disability Association (AFDA) Gozo today at 1.30pm starting from the scouts’ headquarters in Sta Domenica Street, Victoria. • Joe Camilleri and Lino Borg will give a lecture at Il-Ħaġar Museum, Victoria, on Saturday at 10.30am entitled Ġorġ Fenech – L-Artist tad-Dawl u Kulur. The public is invited to attend.
