French Ambassador Michel Vandepoorter visited St Martin’s College to celebrate the first bilingual programme for French native speakers in Malta which was set up this year at Chiswick House School and St Martin’s College.

Vandepoorter, accompanied by the cultural attaché, Laurent Croset, made a donation of French books (courtesy of Association Biblionef) to accompany students on their journey of discovery of the French language.

To welcome the ambassador, students from CHS and SMC performed a song, a poem and a sketch, while senior school and sixth formers studying French as a foreign language conducted an interview of their distinguished guest.
