I write about the report on the busker turf wars (December 9).
The department of trade should order some control over the so-called buskers, opposite the Chalet, in Sliema.
A couple of buskers were displaying their wares on the benches there but now they are using a table.
They started out selling sunglasses only but now they were even selling shoes.
Others are doing the same along the front.
These people need to be controlled because, as the saying goes, you give them a finger and along goes your hand.
In front of the lawcourt, there used to be only a few buskers but now they have turned the place into a mini Monti.
