The Futsal Malta Association raised €2,500 during a three-day marathon in aid of Puttinu Cares, the non-profit organisation that helps relatives of young patients receiving medical treatment in London.

The first day was characterised by the participation of 200 children from the Malta Futsal School while a series of friendly matches were played on day two of the marathon.

The ‘Futsal Family’, made up of Corradino Sports, council members, referees and sports journalists, participated in a mini-tournament on the final day of the event. The council members’ selection claimed top spot after two wins and a loss.

The sum collected will be presented to Puttinu Cares officials during a council meeting in the coming weeks.
