ARRIGO. On December 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, CLARE née Manduca, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Philippa and her husband John Mattei, James and his wife Angela, her grandchildren Emma, Alex and Julia, her in-laws Sylvia Manduca, Isabel Manduca, Anna Manduca and Marjorie Morgan, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said at the Attard Parish church on Friday December 12 at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

ATTARD. On December 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMELA, of St Julian’s, residing in Rabat, passed away peacefully at the age of 97, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss , her nephews and nieces, Ġużi and his wife Francise Xerri, Mary Rose Xerri, FrMario Xerri MSSP, Piju and his wife Polly Xerri, and Polly Xerri pro-nephews and nieces, Christian, Antoinette, Catherine, Christian, Charles, Joseph, Frank and Marthese, their spouses and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.30pm for St Paul's Collegiate church Rabat where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.

VELLA. On December 9, at St Vincent de Paule Residential Home, RAFFAELA, widow of Emmanuel, of Floriana, aged 92, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Alexander and his wife Aloysia, Marika and her husband Helmut Flenner, Stephen and his wife Miriam, Wilhelmina, Antida and her husband Saviour Vella, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paule Home, tomorrow Thursday, at 1.45pm for St Publius parish church, Floriana where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment at the Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Charitable Institutions will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
