AZZOPARDI. On December 7, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, JOSEPH, aged 65, from Sliema and residing in Birkirkara, went to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his friend Simon and his family, his brother Freddie and his wife Vivien, his sister Lina widow of John, his sister Lilian and her husband Emmanuel Suda, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Mary’s Church in Birkirkara where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CASSAR. On December 7, GEORGE, aged 84, of Victoria, Gozo, passed away peacefully at the Gozo General Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rita, his children Josette and her husband Joe, Giovan and his wife Frances, Mario and his wife Margaret, his brothers Stephen and Frank , his sisters in law and their families, his nephews Antoinette, George, Marita, Paul, Monique and Marie, other relatives and friends. MIFSUD. On December 5, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, MARY, widow of Herbert, aged 87, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Jennifer, wife of Joseph Sciriha, Pierre and his wife Elsebeth, Madeleine and John, her brother Lino and his wife Mary, her beloved grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. ZAMMIT. On December 6, MICHAEL, of Mqabba, residing in Valletta, aged 80, at Mater Dei Hospital, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his daughters Carmen and her husband Raymond Mallia, Anna and her husband Charles Bonnici and Pauline widow of Aldo Sammut, his grandsons Edward, Christopher, Thomas, Mark, James and their respective wives and fiancées, his brother Charles and his wife Ċensina, his sisters Maria, Antonia and Pia, his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
