The PN Equal Opportunities Forum (FOIPN) marked World Children’s Day with an event at which children spent time together enjoying fun activities and animation.

The aim of the event was to create awareness of children’s basic rights through arts, crafts and education.

It was organised by the forum’s AGE sub-committee, chaired by Sabine Agius Cabourdin, and its members Anna Cassar and Angele Pulis. This sub-committee is focused on working against discrimination and injustice in children and promoting their rights.

Nationalist Party leader Simon Busuttil attended the event and met parents and children. He was accompanied by PN deputy leader Beppe Fenech Adami and MPs Joe Cassar, Clyde Puli and Robert Arrigo. FOIPN president Graziella Schembri was also present.
