A great variety exists within a given species. Scientific breed-ing over many generations has produced various dog breeds, from the Chihuahua to the Bull Dog to the Great Dane. However, from the Scottish terrier to the Maltese Dog, they are all dogs. A dog has never become a cat, nor metamorphosed into a horse. This is true for every class of living things.
The scientific community insists evolution is the final and only explanation for the existence of life. However, to be proven true the theory must be tested experimentally. How does one test or repeat that which occurred in the past?
Pope Francis has found a way to compromise with the evolutionary thesis that the ‘big bang’ theory is compatible with creation. Creation and evolution can never co-exist.
They are the very antithesis of each other. Evolution refuses the existence of a creator. If one believes in evolution one must also believe that man has no ultimate purpose in the universe.
By staying mum and not upsetting the apple cart, thereby eliminating any confrontation with the scientific establishment, the Church has for quite some time affirmed that man is the product of happenstance, whose origin was formed in a bowl of a chemical soup and that his ancestor is the common housefly.
It is very puzzling when one considers all those philosophical and theological minds along with the intelligentsia that make up the Church’s hierarchy not raising a voice to sustain their belief of an all-mighty creator – God.
I would like to ask some questions about the ‘big bang’ theory. Where, why and how has matter come to exist? What was before matter?
What caused the explosion? Where did hydrogen, the most abundant element in the universe, come from and what preceded its appearance?
