A total of 649 students and 86 staff members are graduating from the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology after successfully completing bachelor’s degrees or higher national diploma (HND) programmes last year.

The degrees and certificates are being conferred at seven graduation ceremonies at the Mcast main hall, Paola, which started last Wednesday and end on Friday.

A total of 283 degrees and 366 HNDs or other MQF level 5 certificates are being conferred. This represents an 11 per cent increase over the number of student graduates at degree level compared to last year.

The 86 Mcast staff were awarded a level 6 graduate teaching certificate in vocational education and training.
