A massive Christmas cake, known as Stollen, is served up in Dresden as part of its annual Christmas tradition.

It's the Christmas cake the city is famous for.

It only took sixty-five bakers and three and a half weeks to pull of the delectable masterpiece, which in the end weighed three tonnes.

Slices of the massive cake -- coated in powdered sugar -- went on sale to the crowd, who was told it was for a 'good cause'.

The Dresden Christmas market has been held annually since 1434 --

And with just one bite of Stollen, these Germans can feel Christmas is just around the corner.
