It was brought to my attention the other day that new ID cards have already been processed for the locality of Mtarfa. Our block of apartments never received any communication on the matter. On calling Identity Malta to verify the facts, the reply I received was that the Mtarfa local council was meant to have contacted us.

Sure enough, the council says the opposite, that the responsibility lay with Identity Malta.

Good to see how no-one takes responsibility for administrative errors and how service users have no possibility for redress.
