Gozo College Boys’ Secondary School, Victoria, is involved in an EU-funded project aimed at helping students to develop entrepreneurship skills by promoting their critical thinking, decision-making and ability to work in a team. The two-year Erasmus Plus KA2 project, entitled Be Enterprising, Succeed Together (Best), also includes schools from the UK, Italy, Norway, Poland, Greece and Estonia.

During the project, interactive and experiential entrepreneurial learning activities will take place in the participating schools to provide quality entrepreneurship education to their students. The students will be encouraged to develop their innovative potential and improve soft skills, such as communication and social intelligence. Such education can help the students become successful entrepreneurs and lead to the development and growth of innovative new businesses.

The first project meeting was held this month at the Gozitan school, during which school representatives discussed the project activities and expected outcomes. The local school will be responsible for the project website, where news about the project will be uploaded.

The next meeting will be held in March 2015 in Patras, Greece.
