• Fontana marks the feast of St Andrew the Apostle today at 3.45pm with a concelebrated Mass led by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech. A procession with the saint’s statue starts at 4.45pm. The Precursor Band will take part in the march, which will be led by Fr Franklin Vella.
• The Christmas in Xagħra Society will hold its annual Christmas seminar at Xagħra Youth Centre today from 9.30am to noon. Admission is free and open to the public, especially crib enthusiasts.
• Masses at Ta’ Pinu sanctuary will be said today at 6.15, 8.30, 10 and 11.15am and 5pm, followed by the recital of the rosary and eucharistic benediction.
• Masses at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, Ta’ Ħamet, will be said today at 9.30am and at 7.30pm.
• Transformers: Age of Extinction will be screened at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm. Blended will be screened on Saturday at 8.30pm.
• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly (Gozo) will hold a charity sale at the football ground near Victoria’s main car park today from 7.30am to 1pm.
• A Christmas bazaar will be held at the St Anthony Centre at the Franciscan friars’ convent, Għajnsielem, today from 7.30am to noon and 4 to 7.30pm.
• The Gozo Bird Breeders Society will hold a bird show at the Gozo Sports Complex, Victoria, on Saturday and next Sunday from 8.30am to 8pm.
• The Sacred Heart Minor Seminary’s ladies’ circle will organise a coffee morning on Thursday at 9am at the Catholic Action Centre, Victoria. Tickets may be obtained from members and from the school.
• The Gozitan Graduates Movement invites graduates and members of professions for a Mass at St Augustine’s church, Victoria, on Friday at 8pm.
• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at Good Shepherd church, Victoria, on Saturday at 8pm, followed by Mass at midnight.
• Members of Il-Fergħa Ewkaristika (Għawdex) will meet at Ta’ Pinu on Saturday at 3pm to celebrate Mass and to adore the Blessed Sacrament till 4pm. All are welcome to attend.
