Amber’s Warrior is certainly a tune suitable to be performed at the world’s biggest music show in Vienna next May.

But it is far from being a clear winner. It’s average rhythm, ordinary lyrics and untrained voice will have to fight hard to get through the semi-finals of the Eurovision Song Contest.

In my view, the winning song represents the poor level of this year’s national festival. None of the 14 songs gave me that ‘wow’ effect. In addition, most of the tunes are similar to something one has heard in the past.

The only thing that made me look twice was the venue – something different to the usual.
