Amber will be representing Malta at the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna in May after winning the national contest held at Malta Shipbuilding.

Amber sung the song Warrior which obtained maximum points from all five judges and televoting. The song was written by Matt (Muxu) Mercieca and composed by Elton Zarb.

The public vote counted for a sixth of the overall result.

The show was opened by Conchita Wurst, last year’s Eurovision winner, who sang her winning opera-pop song “Rise Like A Phoenix” (See below).

During the show, she also perform her latest song “Heroes” released on November 8.

“Heroes” fuses elements of pop and classical music and is defined as a Baroque-pop song. It will be included in her upcoming debut album.
