There are six pending cases before the Permanent Commission against Corruption and one of them is currently being investigated by the police.

In answer to a question by Jason Azzopardi (PN), Home Affairs Minister Manuel Mallia said this case centred around alleged corruption by a member of a local council. It was the only report filed since the removal of time-baring on issues of alleged corruption in 2013.
