Four earth tremors were recorded in the past eight months within 50km of the site of another tremor recorded off Gozo yesterday.

Yesterday's tremor,  63km west of Gozo was felt in parts of Gozo and northern Malta. It was at a depth of 22km and marked 3.5 on the Richter scale.

Of the previous tremors, one of them, only last November 9, had a magnitude of 3.4 and was at a depth of 22.4km. Two other tremors were at a greater depth (87.1 and 34.1km) while one, in May, was at a depth of 10km.
