Any electrical product on the market should be fitted with three-pin plugs in line with the Electrical Accessories Regulations, the consumers’ authority has warned.

It said products not having such plugs should either be fitted with one or else supplied with a proper conversion plug, which is primarily required to prevent electrical shocks when trying to insert a non-three pin plug into a three-pin socket outlet.
