A French tourist was arrested after climbing the Brooklyn Bridge in New York to take photos.

Police say 23-year-old Yonathan Souid of Esnandes, France, climbed over a fence on the pedestrian walkway to reach a cable beam connected to the tower on the Manhattan side of the famed span connecting Brooklyn and Manhattan.

He has been charged with reckless endangerment and criminal trespass.

The daredevil feat comes seven months after two German artists scaled both towers of the Brooklyn Bridge and switched the American flags on top of them for white flags.

In August, a Russian tourist was arrested after ascending a cable to the top of one of the towers.
