Organised by the Malta Community Chest Fund with the help of Kunsill Malti għall-Isport, The President’s Fun Run, in aid of L-Istrina, will be held next Sunday, leaving at 10am from four points: San Anton Palace for runners and Santa Venera, Paola Square and the University for those who will be walking.

For the sixth year, Banif Bank (Malta) plc will be the main sponsor, with One Nation, One Heartbeat as its slogan.

Passing through a number of villages, all four routes will lead to St George’s Square, Valletta. Special bus services will be operating from Valletta terminus after the run.

“Once again, we are expecting a great turnout,” said Banif Bank (Malta) chairman Michael Frendo.

“Those who have participated in the past know that the run is an experience of fun, friendship and enthusiasm. It is this spirit of humanism, at the core of Banif’s principles, that drives us to be part of this event and to mobilise our staff to help with the logistics,” he added.

Applications can be collected from all Banif Bank branches, MCCF offices at the Palace, Valletta, and the Palace at San Anton, or online at www.funrun.org.mt.
